Standard 1c. Uses student performance data as a guide for decision making.

Standard 5f. Works with other staff and building and district leadership in analysis of student progress.

Justification:  Students in my class were given the Basic Reading Inventory (BRI) at the beginning of the year, mid-year and at the end of the year in order to assess their progress toward grade level goals.  This information was also used to develop guided reading goups, assist in determining placement for Title I reading services, and to determine reading and phonics skills for upcoming class and small-group instruction.
