The ABC's Of Kindergarten  

Standard 5a. Aligns classroom assessment with instruction.

Justification:   This is a developmental writing grid that is used in the back of kindergarten draft books to provide a framework for evaluating the progress of the student's writing through the typical progression of writing skills in kindergarten.  Each month, I use it to take a closer look at the student's writing and see how they are progressing.
